Athletics superstar Usain Bolt may join Manchester United.

Usain Bolt is not only a wonderful sportsman. He is also a hilarious guy away from the track. In the past few years, Usain Bolt said he would love turning to soccer when he retires from athletics.

The Jamaican superstar, who owns the 100m world record at 9.58 seconds and the world 200m record of 19.19, has long been critical of Van Gaal's stewardship at Man United.

"I supported Manchester United for years," Bolt said last May. "I would still love to play for them, but if Louis Van Gaal is the coach, not so much."

"It has been up and down. I wouldn't say I'm happy. I think a lot of players don't want to come to the team under Van Gaal. I think players don't want to play for him," the Jamaican said.

"He plays a different style of soccer which Manchester United doesn't really play. We are more of an attacking team and he likes to pass the ball.

"I'm not saying he's not a good coach but, personally, I just think he's not right for Manchester United."

As a huge United fan, it was to be expected that Bold would be questioned over his favorite squad. For sure, he talked about José Mourinho.

"I haven't gotten a call yet but I know it's coming. I think he [Mourinho] is waiting until after the Olympics.

"For me, I'm happy, I'm definitely happy [he came to Old Trafford]. I think it was a good choice. Mourinho's a winner. I really think so.

"He works hard to win titles and that's what Manchester United needs right now. He's building a squad and I'm looking forward to seeing much bigger players and I'm really excited by that."
