FC Barcelona enquired about Benfica's player

FC Barcelona are currently searching for recruits to strengthen their team and have started negotiations with a Benfica player.

Led by their incredible attacking trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar, the Blaugrana can not afford recruiting other renowned strikers. None of them is crazy enough to compete against the MSN trio anyway. Therefore, the Catalan leaders have no choice but to be interested in second class players.

But maybe FC Barcelona has found a solution to this problem. The main idea is to target older but experienced players that will be able to replace one of the three stars at any time. Jonas happens to be the perfect player for this new strategy, based on his excellent performances with Benfica last year. According to Sport, the player is in Barcelona's shortlist.

Tiago Goncalves, the Seleção's striker agent is aware that this is a rare opportunity and started contacting Barca as he explained to the Brazilian media Globoesporte. At the age of 32, Jonah seems to be in his best shape as we can see with his 32 goals in 34 games last season. We hope that the arrival of Luciano Vietto from Atletico Madrid will not slow down the tranfer of Benfica's player.

With a little bit of luck...
