After Bartra and Dani Alves, another Barcelona player has left the club.
Barcelona have signed some talented players during this summer's transfer window and are gradually letting go some of their old players. After the departure of Dani Alves (to Juventus), Marc Bartra (to Dortmund) or Adriano (to Besiktas) it is now Montoya that is packing up his bags.
Martin Montoya was trained by the Masia but never managed to impose himself in with the Catalans. The 25 years old player has decided to try out FC Valencia. The club just formalized the news via Twitter and with a statement on their official website.
The player who was loaned last season at Inter and Betis has signed for four seasons with Valencia, after having simply cancelled his contract with his club.
At least Montoya distinguished himself in Barcelona by scoring... an unlikely basket!
