PSG have been looking for a top striker to replace Edinson Cavani and are about to sign a Real Madrid player.
"He is one of those players in the transfer market that the club has been looking forward to recruiting. Jesé is a good player. He's a possibility among other possibilities in this transfer market. I know Jesé, the club also knows Jesé. He is a good player, it's a possibility." Just a few days ago Unai Emery himself confirmed Paris Saint-Germain's interest towards Real Madrid's striker. Zidane also made it clear that negotiations were ongoing.
Today, according to information from Parisien and RMC, a deal may have been reached. The 23-year-old player refused to extend his contract (ending in 2017) with the White House. This decision displeases Real's leaders because they were hoping that they could add a buyout clause in the contract (just like Álvaro Morata's case with juventus).
Anyway a part from that, the negotiations are so advanced that the transaction should take place in the upcoming hours or days. The native of Canary Islands has agreed to commit to PSG for four years, plus an optional fifth. The transfer fee remains unknown for now but shouldn't be too big.
Jesé could reunite with one of his former Real teammates, Di Maria, who recently impressed everyone by scoring a goal... from a boat!
