FC Barcelona intends to recruit two French players to strengthen their team for the upcoming season.

The French team is very successful this summer in the transfer market. After Moussa Sissoko, Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann, it is the turn of Kevin Gameiro and Lucas Digne to be coveted by other clubs. According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are interested in these two former Paris Saint-Germain players.

The Sevilla striker, author of 16 goals in La Liga last season, is considered by the Catalans as the ideal replacement of the great MSN. The good news for Barca is that the 29-year-old is deeply interested in joining Camp Nou. On their side, the Andalusian club would accept a check of $38,7 million, whereas the release clause of the player is estimated at $44,3 million. For now, Barcelona is still hoping to bring down the price of the former Lorient, under contract until 2018.

Lucas Digne's folder is more or less in the same situation, since the left side is wanted as Jordi Alba's replacement. Tired of being Maxwell's shadow in PSG, "Ratatouille" had found some playing time in Roma last season. However the Romans didn't lift the player's option to purchase estimated at $16 and $18 million. The transfer to Paris might be a solution to a fresh new start even if he will have to, as in Paris, settle as a replacement. A real issue indeed...

Barca was probably convinced by this beautiful lefty goal from the right-footed player :
