Two Portuguese top players unsure about playing semifinals

There's a lot of uncertainty around the Portuguese selection. Two key players could miss the semifinals against Wales.

The Portuguese are scared of facing Wales tomorrow night for the semifinals of Euro 2016. According to the Portuguese press, two players, and not the least talented, have doubts about playing. These two players are no other than... Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe!

The big boss of the defense, Pepe missed his training on Monday because of thigh pains. This inevitably worries Lusitano since their solid stopper has been essential throughout the whole competition.

As for Cristiano Ronaldo, Correio da Manhã announced this morning that his presence for the game against his Real teammate Gareth Bale is not guaranteed. And it's because "Ronaldo's knee is worrying" as suggested the Portuguese newspaper. A double withdrawal could therefore be a nightmare for Fernando Santos's men.

As for the Welsh, whom are deprived of their suspended Aaron Ramsey, they are already rubbing their hands...
