The accolades just keep pouring onto Cristiano Ronaldo, who after a Euro 2016 win with Portugal and Team of the Tournament honors, now has yet another big award to add to his trophy collection.
On Wednesday night, Ronaldo was awarded the Best International Athlete ESPY Award by ESPN. The award, voted on by fans, recognizes the best non-American citizen or athlete in a major sport.

Ronaldo beat out Barcelona striker and leading La Liga scorer Luis Suarez, along with Mexican middleweight boxer Canelo Alvarez, tennis superstar Novak Djokovic, and LPGA star Lydia Ko for the distinction.
The Real Madrid megastar also won the award in 2014, then beating Rafael Nadal, Inbee Park and Sebastian Vettel to win.
The 2nd ESPY win for Ronaldo tied him with Barcelona megastar Lionel Messi and Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt for the most in the award's nine-year history.
During the 2015-16 season, Ronaldo scored 35 goals in 36 appearances, adding another 16 goals in the Champions League en route to a Champions League Final win over Atletico Madrid on penalty kicks. The 51 goals he scored in all competitions marked his sixth consecutive season with at least 50 goals.
He also finished just behind Lionel Messi in the Ballon d'Or rankings, but was named to the UEFA Team of the Year, FIFA World XI, and La Liga Team of the Season.
