Emery, PSG's freshly appointed coach, intends to part with two key players of the club.

Paris Saint-Germain 2.0, Unai Emery's version updates already started taking place. While Thomas Meunier and Hatem Ben Arfa are expected very soon, the Spanish technician has decided to sacrifice at the same time two first-team players of Laurent Blanc's era.

According to L'Equipe, these two players are Blaise Matuidi and David Luiz. The first player might be the victim of the former Sevilla FC coach's 4-2-3-1. Comfortable in Lolo White's 4-3-3, the French player could have trouble adapting to the last tactic. This situation could however be in favor of the midfielder and push him towards his dreams of playing in the Premier League.

As for David Luiz, his departure would have nothing to do with tactics. He simply is not playing as good as he used to, the new coach doesn't see any progress in the Brazilian and is tempted to replace him with Thiago Silva - Marquinhos. A decisive choice that might push the former Chelsea defender into fleeing to another club.

Apparently, Paris Saint-Germain has really begun a new cycle with the arrival of new coach Unai Emery. The real question is whether this new PSG will do better than the last one or not...
