Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson embraced Cristiano Ronaldo after he led Portugal to Euro 2016 glory.

This was a very special moment. After lifting the trophy at the Stade de France, Ronaldo went down the stairs and had been catched by an unexpected guest. Sir Alex Ferguson was waiting there as Portugal's players descended from their trophy presentation, grabbing Ronaldo to tell him his congratulations. Ferguson shouted "Cristiano" to CR7’s attention and he was clearly delighted to see his former manager in Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t hide his delight when he spotted Manchester United legend in the crowd. Portuguese Captain, who became player-manager after his withdrawal, threw his arms around Sir Alex Ferguson.

Nani, who also spent time under Ferguson at Old Trafford, also received a classy hug. New Valence CF forward was also pleased to see Fergie, shouting: 'Boss!' at the surprise of bumping into his former manager.
