Belgian striker Christian Benteke has just made the World Cup history. He scored the fastest goal in a World Cup match. He clocked it in at 7 seconds during the match and went on to score more for Belgium that night. Their opponents from Gibraltar did not know what hit them. According to soccer history this goal knocks out the goal made by San Marino’s Davide Gualtieri who scored in 8.3 seconds against England all the way back in November 1993.
